Star-Studded Reading of The Trial of the Catonsville Nine
“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron.”
–Dwight Eisenhower
–Dwight Eisenhower
A wise man told me that we must look to the past to see how we should proceed in the future.
WHAT MOVES ONE TO ACT?
“Rise like Lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number -
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you -
Ye are many - they are few.”
percy bysshe shelley
AT WHAT POINT DO WE DECIDE TO DO SOMETHING TAKE A STAND.
WE CAN'T KEEP DOING THINGS THE SAME WAY EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS!
IT IS TIME TO ACT
THIS TIME IT IS NOT A REVOLUTION, IT IS A CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION WITH A SOLUTION
JOIN US! TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING!
IT'S TIME TO EVOLVE....

one of my favorite sayings is:
the definition of insanity is “… DOING THINGS THE SAME WAY [over and over] EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS!”

Diana,
You might want to think about contacting Stephen Zarlenga at the American Monetary Institute and getting some interaction going. The nature of the money system is appearing on the election radar and with the sub-prime mortgage fiasco center stage, there has never been a better time to expose the process of debt and money which of course is the main cause of poverty.
I'll put a quick post up about it today as they have their annual conference at the end of September in Chicago.
Keep agitating.
Blessings
Raf
Thank you for your insight I will check it out.
Yes Raf..
“an ode to entitlement…” is what I would name
the sub-prime mortgage fiasco , which has bankrupted some of our poor as well as working class folks (seduced them into
predatory, often fraudulent loan products, and also made a handful of America's economical elite..(brokers, lenders, bankers, etc) Richer..
and so much more really on a macro level..
Capitalism, at it's worst.
3 Cheers for knocking on the American Monetary Institute's door…
and also,
all of us advocating for economic Justice on a grassroots level…
Keep On Advocating Diana.
Namaste
